The purpose of this study was to provide basic data on oral health education such as accurate knowledge and improvement of oral care ability by examining the oral health behavior according to the contents of courses related to oral health education for students attending the department of dental hygiene. This study was conducted for Mar. 4, 2018 ~ 2018. 5. Days 2, the results of the questionnaire survey of 274 volunteers who voluntarily participated in the study, the following results were obtained. Significant differences were found between test and control groups in terms of the concern with the dental health management (=35.466, p<0.001), (=17.404, p<0.001), experience of scaling (=17.404, p<0.001), frequency of daily teeth brushing (=16.957, p<0.001), use of the dental health tools (=15.552, p<0.001), and the periodontal disease (=14.762, p<0.001). On the other hand, the significant correlations were found between the completion of the education program and such dental health behaviors as concern with the dental health (r=0.624, p<0.001), experience of scaling (r=0.530, p<0.001), frequency of daily teeth brushing (r=0.523, p<0.001), education on teeth brushing (r=0.327, p=0.009), use of the dental health tools (r=0.0.516, p<0.001) and peridontal disease (r=-0.488, p<0.001). Therefore, it is necessary to develop and verify the oral health education tool which can improve the oral health promotion of college students through the development of the smart phone application or the UCC image education program which is preferred by the university students.
