The share of female households in Korea is increasing in all households. Especially, the ratio of single-person households and mother-to-child households has increased, and safety issues have become important. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of safety awareness on life satisfaction on the mediating effect of social support in female householder residing in Daejeon Metropolitan City. In the control variable, the higher the level of educational attainment, the higher the income level, the lower the degree of depression, the higher the satisfaction of life. As a result, when viewed at a center of the mediating effects of social support, safety awareness of female-headed householder has been proven that the social support that a mediating role to help influence the life satisfaction. It is confirmed that social support between the safety awareness and life satisfaction of a female-headed householder has a partial mediation effect. When establishing a policy for life-satisfaction in a female-headed householder, it is important to consider three variables: safety awareness, social support, and life satisfaction. However, this study has limitations on the generalization of female-headed householder in other regions and limitations as secondary data using 2014 Daejeon Metropolitan City Social Survey data.
