본 연구는 도시에 거주하는 경로당 이용 노인들과 노인복지관 이용 노인들을 대상으로 이용 여가시설에 따라 노인들의 여가만족도에 영향을 미치는 변인에 차이가 있는지를 분석하였다. 연구대상은 2014 노인실태조사에 참여한 노인들 중 도시에 거주하며 경로당을 이용하는 노인 1,222명과 노인복지관을 이용하는 노인 591명이었으며 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이용 여가시설에 따라 노인들의 사회경제적 변인, 여가 관련 변인과 사회적 관계 변인 등에서 차이가 있음이 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 여가만족도를 비교한 결과 경로당 이용 노인들의 여가만족도가 노인복지관 이용 노인들보다 유의미하게 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 노인복지관 이용 노인들의 여가만족도에는 자원봉사 참여와 친구·이웃·지인과의 연락빈도가 영향을 미친 반면 경로당 이용 노인들의 여가만족도에는 주 여가활동 TV시청, 친목단체 참여와 가깝게 지내는 친구·이웃·지인의 수가 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 평생교육참여는 이용여가시설에 관계없이 노인들의 여가만족도에 가장 중요한 영향을 미치는 변인으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to explore the factors related to leisure satisfaction between urban elderly using senior center and elderly welfare center. Data for this study was based on 2014 National Survey on Elderly. Using total of 1,813 urban elderly participants, this study found that there were differences in socioeconomic variables, leisure variables and social relationship variables between two groups of elderly. Leisure Satisfaction of elderly using senior center was lower than elderly using welfare center. While participation in volunteer activities, frequency of telephone contact with friends & neighbors were significantly related to leisure satisfaction of elderly using welfare center, major leisure activity-Television viewing, fraternal group participation, and number of close friends & neighbors were important factors for the leisure satisfaction of elderly using senior center. Participation in lifelong Learning had the strongest effect on leisure satisfaction for both elderly using senior center and elderly using elderly welfare center.
