The purpose of this study was to investigate the factor that makes the group music therapy for disabled children can effectively continue, and grounded theory was used for the investigation. Research data was collected and categorized by interviewing four persons from the group that join the group therapy sessions and two parents of clients. This study increased its reliability by triangulation including categorizing, member checking, and peer debriefing, after interviews. Sorting 117 sub-types and re-sorting them into 7 sub categories, this study achieved three core categories : growth, factor to facilitate the growth, and environmental support
