본 연구의 목적은 문화예술교육 프로그램이 아동복지시설의 아동의 우울성향, 자아상, 정서지능에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 있다. 문화예술교육 프로그램은 음악, 미술, 국악, 무용 등의 장르에 대하여 다양한 활동과 교육방법, 교육내용을 체험하고 경험해보는 것으로 구성되어 있으며, 3개월 동안 매 주 2회씩 총 24회기의 교육적 처치를 실시하였다. 문화예술교육 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 프로그램에 참여하는 실험집단과 참여하지 않는 통제집단을 구분하여 사전, 사후 검사를 비교한 결과, 우울성향 검사에서는 프로그램 참여 후 실험집단이 통제집단에 비해 통계적으로 유의미하게 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 자아상 검사에서는 프로그램 참여 후 실험집단이 통제집단보다 통계적으로 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of the Culture-Art Education Program on depression, self-image, and emotional intelligence for children in welfare institutions. The Culture-Art Education Program consisted of various activities and instructional methods in Music, Art, Korean Traditional Music, and Dance. The treatment was implemented through 24 courses carried out over 3 months. When the depression, self-image, and emotional intelligence of the experimental and control group were compared at the end of the application, the experimental group showed significantly lower scores than the control group in terms of the depression scores. On the other hand, the experimental group showed significantly higher scores than the control group in terms of the self-image scores.
