본 연구에서는 군 병사들을 대상으로 병사들이 복무 중 경험한 외상 사건 유형과 PTSD 증상, 우울의 관계를 살펴보고 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 분석하였다. 먼저 PTSD 증상 수준에 따라 임상집단과 정상집단으로 구분하여 외상경험 유형, 우울에서 집단 간 차이가 있는지 살펴보았다. 다음으로 외상경험 중 복합외상 경험과 PTSD 증상, 그리고 우울과의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 조절효과를 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, PTSD 증상의 임상적 절단점 수준에 따라 구분한 임상집단과 정상집단 간에 외상경험 유형, 우울에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 또한, 외상경험 유형 중 단순외상보다는 복합외상 경험이 PTSD 증상과 우울을 더 잘 설명하였다. 복합외상 경험과 PTSD 증상의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 조절효과는 유의하지 않았으나, 복합외상 경험과 우울과의 관계에서 사회적 지지는 유의한 조절효과를 보였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 군사회복지제도의 도입을 제언하였다.
The purpose of this study was to examin the relationship of soldiers' traumatic events in public services, PTSD symptoms and depression, and to analysis moderating effect of social sopport. First dividing into clinical group and normal group as level of PTSD symptoms, differences of two groups in types of experienced traumatic events and depressin are examined. Second, moderating effect of social sopport in the relationship between experirnced complex traumatic events and PTSD symptoms and experirnced complex traumatic events and depression are examined. The result of analysis, there are significant differences between clinical group and normal group as level of PTSD symptoms in types of experienced traumatic events and depressin. And experirnced complex traumatic events explaine better than PTSD symptoms and depression. The moderation effect of social support in the relationship between experirnced complexed traumatic events and PTSD symptoms is not significant, but the moderation effect of social support in the relationship between experirnced complexed traumatic events and depression is significant. Based on this result, introduction of military social welfare system is suggested. Key words : traumatic events, PTSD symptoms, social support, moderating effect.
