The object of this study is to explore how job performance, role ambiguity, and job satisfaction are related to organizational commitment of librarians working at reading support center for the blind. Surveys were administered to 57 librarians for the blind in Korea. The results shows job satisfaction as a mediator of the relationship between job performance, role ambiguity and organizational commitment We also suggest the compulsory education training on characteristics and needs of the blind, providing job functions and job descriptions of librarian for the blind, creating a more supportive work environment.
