GINUE has 17 research centers whose function needs to be activated and increased more. Evaluating their achievement is one way to stimulate and support them. This study aims to develop an evaluation model of GINUE research centers and to make suggestions for their evaluating practice including procedure, method and considerations of the evaluation. For this purpose, this study examined theories on the organizational assessment, the GINUE　regulations for the research center and the research center evaluation model of other universities, and then suggested a model based on them. The suggested one was reviewed by the concerned experts and had it revised referring to their comments. It is necessary to remember that the suggested model continue to be improved through practice.
