Dr. Sun Yat-sen was born in Guangdong(廣东) of Qing(淸)dynasty, was a genuine socialist. Throughout his life, Nationalism and Democracy were realized only partially in parts of China. Only the Principle of the People\'s Livelihood was the objective he pursued and fought for all his life. He was the first to realize that socialism could relieve China of its sufferings. So, he say that the equality in land properties was one of the important content of the people\'s livelihood. Its initial line of reasoning was nationalization of land and land to the tiller, developed to checking and ratifying land price, public appreciation afterwards, then developed to setting a price for purchase, and reaffirmed the proposition of land to the tiller. The purpose was to turn peasant into Owner-peasant with independent economic statues and independent personality, and to come into being middle class in rural area, with the development of rural economy.
