The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of group music therapy for leisure activities on the quality of life(depression and social support) of disabled elderly persons. Subjects of this study consisted of 14 disabled elderly persons aged between 45 and 71, who were requested group music therapy from community centre in Seoul. All subjects were asked to the depression test and were interviewed for evaluation of quality. After providing interventions, the score of state depression significantly decreased more than pre-interventions. The interview showed the effect of community music therapy of Ruud & Ansdell. The program of this study was chosen as proposal ‘Disabled Person’s Culture-art Support Businesses, Pulburi, 2010’.
