The purposes of this case study were to find out the effect of Art Therapy Program on improvement of the juvenile delinquent and especially to prove the effect of further guide after 6 months(Art Therapy Program)
The adolescent was 18 years old female at high school. She was sentenced to a stay of execution for 6 months for homebreaking and theft.
Therapy period for the first was February, 1998 to June, 1998 for ten sessions.
The second was January, 1999 to April, 1999 for ten sessions. Each session was individual counseling for 50 minutes.
The results of this case study were as follows : First. anxiety was reduced to 43 from 70 and self-esteem was improved to 72 from 58 in change of anxiety and self-esteem of a juvenile delinquent through Art Therapy Program.
Second, the results of picture diagnosis in the first and the second therapy through Art Therapy Program were that family dynamics KFD was changed quite affirmatively, the number of merit in the second was more than that of merit in the first in Hand tracing and it was changed to hard studying feature in the second from penalty c1eaning feature in the first.
Third, after the first therapy, delinquency conducts Such as theft, leaving home without notice, heavy drinking, harsh words, absence, lateness Were reduced considerablely.
After the second therapy, she became close to a model student‘ 50 we could prove the effect of delinquency improvement through Art Therapy Program.
