"The purpose of this study is to determine how Program activities affect Mental Retardation Social skills Activity. For this purpose, prior researches on Mental Retardation and literature about theories of Social skills Activity were reviewed, the results of which were reflected in constructing Program. The main results can be summarized as follows: since the quality of PASs directly depends on the quality of PAs and the level of support, regular education from the service institutions by which practices rather than theories are strengthened and concrete situations can be dealt with. The experimental participating in Program showed higher scores in Negative Social skills Activity, adaptive Social skills Activity, among Mental Retardation. These activities were therefore found to be effective in Mental Retardation. These results demonstrate that Program activities can be used in Mental Retardation practices and produce positive changes in Mental Retardation Social skills Activity.
