본 연구는 대학부설과학영재교육원의 “발전 지표” 탐색을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 먼저 지표가 가지는 본래적 의미를 탐색하고, 선행 연구 고찰을 통해 대학부설과학영재교육원의 발전 지표를 추출 하였다. 이렇게 추출한 발전 지표를 바탕으로 지표의 본래적 의미에 맞게 대학의 체제 모형에 입각한 발전지표들을 추출 하였으며, 그 결과를 바탕으로 발전지표의 일관성을 고려한 투입, 과정, 산출의 체계적 지표모형을 설정하였다. 이렇게 완성한 지표는 대학부설과학영재교육원의 경쟁력 향상을 위한 교육 강화의 기제로 작용 할 수 있으며, 대학부설과학영재교육원의 현황을 나타내는 기초 자료조사에 활용될 수 있다.
The main purpose of this study was to explore indicators on science-gifted education center at universities. In order to investigate the indicators, first, we focused on inherent meaning for the indicators, and then reviewed related articles. Using the indicators, we set up a systematic model that include three process: input, process, and output. We expected that these indicators from this study would be useful for improving quality of science-gifted education center at universitites. In addition, the indicators could be used for investigating the current status on science-gifted education.
