The study investigated the tendency, which occurred in placement environment by school courses, by examining the preferred phenomenon of segregated system and integrated system by school courses from Korean students with hearing impairment attending from kindergarten to high school for 10 years. The results of the study are on the following. First, special education students of the recent 10 years gradually increased from segregated system to integrated system and hearing impaired students also gradually has been increased from segregated system to integrated system with similar rate. Secondly, the placement rate of hearing impaired students at the special school is significantly decreased but on the other side, you can observe the phenomenon of enlarging the unification into special class or general class. Various researchers are considerably concerning about the integrated education of hearing impaired students about it. Third, the placement rate of special school of hearing impaired students by school in 2010 is preferred the unification as a general class or special class. On the other side, the placement rate of special school is higher in middle and high school by school course.
