본 연구는 초등학교 5, 6학년을 대상으로 아동이 지각한 행복감과 일상적 스트레스가 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 연구 대상은 서울 지역에 위치한 초등학교에 재학중인 429명을 대상으로 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 15.0프로그램을 이용하여 연구 대상자의 성별분포 및 개인 환경 변인의 특성을 알아보기 위해 빈도분석 및 백분율을 실시하였으며 성별 비교 및 학년간의 차이와 변인들간의 관계성을 알아보기 위해 t검증, 상관분석, F검증, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과로는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별에 따른 학교생활적응은 여아가 남아보다 학교생활적응이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학년에 따른 학교생활적응은 5학년이 6학년보다 학교생활적응이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 가정생활수준에 따른 학교생활적응은 중․상으로 지각하는 아동이 중․하로 지각하는 아동보다 학교생활적응이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 학교생활적응에는 아동의 행복감이 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
\"This study examines the effect of child\'s perceived happiness and daily stress on their school life adjustment. The survey of 429 students in Grade 5, 6 from several elementary schools located in Seoul was conducted and the data was analyzed by using SPSS 15.0 software.
