\"This study aimed to search for any disability that the visually impaired is experiencing, to deeply understand the nature of disability amid such experience, and to investigate its meaning. For this, this study carried out in-depth interviews after selecting 5 blind people as study participants and grasped the meaning of disability that the visually impaired is experiencing through phenomenological study methods. As a result, blind people have a different culture from people without disability and have different feelings in their life style because they don’t arouse a common sympathy. According to this, they experience disability. In addition, the people without disabilityoriented social environment makes the visually impaired feel uncomfortable, and they said that they experience disability because such a uncomfortable situation make them ask a favor to other people. Common people don’t recognize a difference from each other, regard the visually impaired as uncomfortable and demand to overcome their disability, so blind people said that they feel as people with disability due to other person. In addition, study participants mentioned that people with disability are isolated in disconnection with the society so that it is important what they have in mind. This study suggested several proposals by focusing on these research results.
