"It is urgent to prepare improvements and countermeasures against lots of problems originated due to single-parent family, a big issue emerging and increasing these modern days of rapidly changing society. This is for making good relationship between single parents and their child through checking up the day-life adaptability self-esteem of single-parents' children to presenting proper ways to solve problems from child rearing shown in usual single-parent families. The study result shows that the one of the major factor which effects upon self-respect of child is rearing attitude of parent. Under compassionate and permissive parent, child becomes active, creative and independent. If parent shows compassionate but strict parenting attitude, child becomes docile and obedient to parent, willingly follow rules. Therefore, the supports from government and local communities is strongly needed to solve economic problems, social prejudice, settle mental instability of single-parent families for establishment desirable parenting attitude.
