\"본 연구는 북학이탈 초등학생의 자아존중감에 영향을 미치는 여러 가지 요인들을 구체적으로 도출하여 그들이 남한사회에서 성공적으로 적응할 수 있는 개입방안의 근거를 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 남한에 도착한지 6개월이 지난 새터민 초등학생을 대상으로 하였다. 자료수집방법은 북한이탈 초등학생의 접근성 문제로 눈덩이표집방법을 사용하였으며, 작성된 설문지 139부를 분석자료로 활용하였다. 자료의 분석방법은 SPSS/WIN 10.1 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석과 중 다회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 북한이탈 초등학생의 자아종중감에는 아버지의 학력, 이주 후의 동거가족 수, 부모의 지지, 교사의 지지 등이 통계적으로 유의미하게 영향을 미치는 변인으로 나타났다.\"
"The purpose of this study is to draw out concretely the several factors which influence North Korean defection children's self concept, and so prepare the intervention measures which enable them to adapt themselves well to South Korean society. The subjects of this study were the North Korean defection children of age 7-15 who had been lived in South Korea for more than 6 months. This study analyzed 139 copies of the questionnaires which investigators drew up by visiting all the regions of our country. As data processing, this study executed the statistical processing by using SPSS/WIN 12.0 program. As frequency analysis, multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. The variables, which influenced directly the self concept, were the education level of father, family members living together in South Korea, and Parent support and teacher support.
