취학 전의 유아틀은 언어 발달변에서 상당한 진전을 보인다. 전문삭 말을 사용 하여 필요한 의사전달야 가능하게 되며 구둔양식이나 이해의 깊이에 있어서도 놀 라운 발달올 이루어간다. 이와함께 가족과 가까운 사람들에 한정된 집단에서 벗어 나 점차 여러 집단과 상호작용을 경험하게 되므로 이 유아겨는 사회성 향상에 있 어 서 도 중요한 시 기 라고 말할 수 있다(高野， 1980). 한 인간이 사회의 구성원으로 성장해 나가는데 있어서 유아기의 언어 및 사회 성 발달은 중요한 영향을 미치며 서효 상호관계를 맺고 있는 것으로 알려져 었다Garfin 과 Lord0990l 는 언어와 사회성의 두 행동이 상호관계를 맺고 있으며 의사 소통의 장애가 사3회적 상호작용의 능력에 영향을 준다고 밝혔다 이근매 (1993) 도 사례연구를 통한 고찰에서 언어 발달과 사회성 둥의 다른 행동 영역과의 관계는 상호 관계를 맺고 았다고 보고하였다- 따라서 유아의 언어 발달 지체는 사회성 결 여를 가져올 수 있으며 나아가서 전반적얀 발달에도 영향을 줄 수 있다 아동의 발달 과정에서 장애가 생겨 언어가 정상적인 단계에서 벗어나거나 지 체가 될 때 언어발달에 이상이 있다고 한다. 그리하여 언어 발달 지체의 원인에 따라 그 치료적인 접근방법을 달리해 왔는데， 즉 언어발달에 직접 작용하는 언어 훈련과 섬리치료를 중섬으로 한 간접적인 방볍 등 크게 두가지로 나누어 하내의 접근방법에 따라 진행해 왔다
This study purposes to examine the effects by administering simutaneously the art therapy and the speech therapy(composed according to behavior therapy approach) of delayed child in language and social skills The method of this study is as fo11ows: First of a11, the speech therapy is administered because it is thought that the subject’s language developmental delay results from the deficits of personal relations. From is sessions, the art therapy program that is able to give out the frustration is administered simulitaneously with speech therapy program. The art therapy program is composed with plastic activity, drawing, and handicrafts using the colored papers The resalts of the study, the speech therapy program designed by behavior therapy approach is effective in improving the language development. And it is thought that the art therapy helps giving out frustration dued to inappropriate environment. In addition to that acquired language from speech therapy and improved emotion from art therapy are aidied each other. Therefore it is suggested that this combined therapy is effective in improvement of social skills and global development.
