The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceptions of the roles of child educare student teacher. The subjects of this study were 142 child educare student teachers who experienced student teaching for four weeks. The result of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the perceptions of student teacher on role of the child educare student teacher were above average. Second, there were no significant differences between scores of the previous student teaching and scores of the subsequent student teaching on child educare student teacher's role perception of the child educare student teacher. Third, there were significant relation between scores of the student teaching on child educare student teacher's role perception and the child educare student teacher's age, scholarship, the type of the child educare center, and cooperative teacher's scholarship.
