This paper explores film education in the secondary school as an arts and culture education. The study focuses on the supporting project for arts educator and curricula for teaching profession. Firstly, the 모드니 예술, 제4호 - 88 - supporting project for arts educator has been started by Korea Arts and Culture Education Service since 2004. It plays a key role in expanding film education in the primary and secondary school in terms of Support for Arts and Culture Education Act. Secondly, the purpose of the teaching profession in film education is to obtain the educational knowledge and professional skills of film which are characteristic to the teaching profession. However, the teaching profession for film education needs to develop the curriculum and teaching methods.
