This Study aims to investigate the general recognition on education for parents in the kindergarten and to suggest a proper plan as
the basic research on education for parents educational. Therefore, this study attempts to survey education for parents conducted in
the parent kindergarten through parents and teachers who take part in this education. In this respect, this study attempts to
investigate some significant difference between them as follow: first, what difference is there in their attitude between parents and
teachers on the general satisfaction and the necessity of education for parents conducted in the present kindergarten?; second, how
much satisfaction and requirement do they have on the contents and the method of education for parents in the kindergarten
according to the number of their children and the period of their teaching?; third, what difference do they show in their satisfaction
and demand on education for parents in the kindergarten? The questionnaire as research tool is made of 25 question for parents and
20 question for teachers. First, this questionnaire is composed of questions about the number of their children and the period of
their teaching. Second, it consists of question about difference of their attitude towards the necessity of education for parents in the
kindergarten. Third, it is made up of questions about their satisfaction and requirements on the contents and the method of
education for parents in the kindergarten. Fourth, it is composed of questions about the difference in their satisfaction and demand
on the contents and the method of education for parents in the kindergarten. For this investigation, parents and teachers at seven
kindergarten in Pusan and at one kindergarten in the outskirts of the city are selected randomly as subject of this study. The
process of data includes an analysis of frequency, difference verification x², F-verification, T-test, multi -comparative verification, and
ANOVA analysis on the basis of 456 sheets of questionnaire for parents and 122 sheets of questionnaire for teachers. The conclusion
can be obtained in this study as follows: First, it can be proved that there is a significant difference between parents and teachers
on education for parents in the kindergarten. The attitudes of parents and teachers toward the necessity and their satisfaction of
education for parents conducted in the present kindergarten show a remarkable difference between them according to the number of
their children and the period of their teaching. Parents show a difference between them according to the number of their children in
the necessity of education for parents and the reason why they participate in the program, while they show no difference in the
total satisfaction. Second, their satisfaction and demand about the contents and the method of education for parents conducted in the
present kindergarten show no difference. However, there is a significant difference in their satisfaction and demand about its way,
frequency, and import. As for the method of education for parents, parents demand a school report, one education for parents per
semester, and personality-centered education for early children, while teachers demand counselling, interview, programs for
participation, two times of education for parents per semester, and development. Third, it can be seen that is a difference between
them in their satisfaction and demand about education for parents in the kindergarten in accordance with its method, frequency and
contents, and teachers show higher than parents in other question. Parents want a passive education by a school report, while
teachers want to take part in the production of teaching tools and as assistant teachers and additionally require a professional
instructors through a thorough tryout of teachers in education for parents.
