The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of training for social relationship through
computer simulation on prosocial behavior of young children. From a sample of 129 children, 63 was
assigned as experimental group, 66 was assigned as control group. The computer simulation program
for social relationship using PPT was developed, which includes varied situations that children can
encounter through their social activities.
Results of this study were as follows;
First, the training for improving interpersonal relationship through computer simulation is effective
on prosocial behavior of young children.
Second, the training for improving interpersonal relationship through computer simulation is effective
on leadership, contacting, sharing, empathy which are elements of prosocial behavior of young
children, but not effective on helping, communicating, caring.
