The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between self-differentiation and self-efficacy and
to find out how they affect interpersonal relationships and stress coping strategy. The subjects of this study
were 235 university students (male 120, female 115) in Busan, Gyeoungju and Asan. Cronbach's α correlation,
regression by SPSS version 11.0 were employed for data analysis. The results of this study are as follows.
The self-differentiation and self-efficacy turned out to be low correlated. It also turned out that stress coping
strategy and interpersonal relationships could be affected by the two. The result of the study indicates that
interpersonal relationships and stress coping strategy are affected by self-differentiation and self-efficacy. The
students, therefore, could improve their quality of life by discovering positive ways to handle them.
