The government has been published various policy for the welfare of the veterans. However. it is necessary to examine how these policies will help to the veterans and defuse to their painful life. The ranges of the policies are applied to the military pension management system. employment support system. medical service support system. and other welfare systems. In addition. the other welfare systems include education support system. loan support system. preferential parceling of housing. using public facilities. and burial in the National Cemetery. The evaluations of the policies are focused on the ascertaining of the effectiveness based on the satisfaction of the beneficiaries. This study extracts a significance. which included in the previous study through an investigation of the literatures as a qualitative method. and presents a related theoretical background and analytical frame through a various statistical material. In addition. this study searches the life satisfaction. policies evaluation. personal characteristics. and life realities as a quantitative method. and then analyzes it using a SPSS statistical analyzing program. According to the analyzing of the life satisfaction. the life satisfaction consist of three factors. such as family/health factor. economical factor. and social factor. The most interested policies for the veterans were the employment support system and pension management system. By comparing these two systems. the pension management system showed a higher level than the employment support system in the effectiveness evaluation of the welfare policies of veterans. However. the employment support system showed a higher level than that of the factors. which affect to the life satisfaction. These meant that the employment support system was not enough. and the life satisfaction was not promoted only depending on the pension.
