본 연구의 목적은 국립고궁박물관의 소장품을 이용하여 초등부 시각장애학생을 위한 학습도구 개발과 활용을 통해 실제 초등부 시각장애학생의 교육에 직접 활용할 수 있는 구체적인 프로그램을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2011년 3월부터 2011년 8월까지 문헌 연구, 국내·외 시각장애인 박물관교육 프로그램 및 국립고궁박물관 소장품 고찰, 교육 프로그램 및 학습도구 개발, 시각장애 학생 대상 프로그램의 적용하였다. 마지막으로 관련 전문가의 자문을 통해 프로그램을 수정, 보완하여 초등부 시각장애학생을 위한 고궁박물관 체험 학습 프로그램을 개발하였다.
The purpose of this study was to develop educational program for students with visual impairment through developing and applying learning instrument by using collections in National Palace Museum. For this study, reviewing the literatures was conducted from March to August 2011. Then, investigating the several museums\' educational program for students with visual impairment of domestic and foreign countries were conducted. After that, by applying this finding, educational program and learning instrument for students with visual impairment were developed. Finally, through working with experts related to this field, the program was modified and intensified and the Experiential Learning Program of National Palace Museum for students with visual impairment was developed.
