본 연구는 필리핀 결혼이주여성들의 출산 후 자녀 양육경험과 한국인 결혼여성의 양육경험을 비교하기 위해 농촌에서 자녀를 키우는 필리핀 결혼이주여성 15명과 한국인 결혼여성 15명을 포함하여 총 30명을 대상으로 면접을 실시하였다. 참여자들은 기혼 여성들로 자녀가 있는 연구대상들을 면접하였으며 녹취한 내용은 Colaizzi 방법에 의한 연구절차에 따라 자료를 비교분석하여 범주화하였다. 자료를 범주화한 결과 필리핀 결혼이주여성의 양육경험은 4개 범주, 7개 주제군, 19개 주제였으며 한국인 결혼여성의 양육경험의 의미는 4개 범주, 8개 주제군, 19개 주제로 구성되었다. 최종적으로 도출된 필리핀 결혼이주여성과 한국인 결혼여성의 양육 경험의 4가지 범주는 ‘어머니 관련’, ‘자녀 관련’, ‘남편 관련’, ‘생활 관련’으로 나타났으며, 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 필리핀 결혼이주여성과 한국인 결혼여성의 양육경험 의미에 대한 차이점과 유사점을 살펴보며 필리핀 결혼 이주여성들의 자녀 양육 경험의 본질을 이해하여 한국적응과 양육방법을 증진시킬 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 마지막으로 필리핀 결혼이주여성들을 위한 지원 방안에 대한 제언을 하였다.
The purpose of this study was to better understand the perceptions of child-rearing as experienced by Filipino women married to Korean men and Korean women married to Korean men living in a small local city. For the purposes of this study, 30 participants, including 15 married Filipino women and 15 married Korean women were selected and were then interviewed in-depth. The research participants all had children. Data were collected by means of in-depth interview and analyzed based on Colaizzi's phenomenological method. The final 4 categories, 7 clusters of themes, were the child-rearing experiences of Filipino married women, the final 4 categories, 8 clusters of themes were based on the child-rearing experiences of Korean married women. The final results revealed 4 categories of care experiences for the Filipino married women and Korean married women, consisting of ‘mother’, ‘children’, ‘husband’, ‘life’. Both the similarities and the differences regarding the respective child-rearing experiences of Filipino married women and Korean married women were discussed, as were suggestions for relevant support plans and systems for such women.
