The purposes of the study were to research of assistive technology assessment tools from abroad.The total sample is 21 assessment tools in 4 articles. The results of this study are as follows: First,assistive technology assessment tools need be developed to active assistive technology application. The purpose of these tools are to systematically and scientifically measure outcome of assistive technology. Second, application and assessment of assistive technology need be centered consumer. And assistive technology assessment tools need be considered costs of assistive technology, functional outcome, satisfaction of consumer, and quality of life. Third, application and assessment of assistive technology need be appeared in concrete situation(ex, writing) and place(ex, classroom).
