The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of an aerobics exercise combined with pilates on balance ability, body compositions in elderly women. Over 65 years old(women=16) participants in pilates combined with dance exercise program for 12 weeks. They were training for four times per week. Statistical Data was processed by SPSS(Windows Version 12.0) using descriptive statistics regarding the physical characteristics of subjects as well as each variables(balance ability, body compositions). The difference of within and between in two group was analyzed repeated measures ANOVA, significant level was set p=.05. The results are as follows: Balance ability, there is significant difference according to the measurement, Body compositions(weight, body fat), there is significant difference according to the measurement. Conclusion, aerobics exercise combined with pilates program have beneficial effects on body fat in elderly women.
