본 연구의 목적은 초등학생을 위한 프로젝트학습 지도안 모형을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 프로젝트학습의 적용단계와 관련된 여러 선행연구를 분석하여 프로젝트학습 적용단계를 프로젝트 설계하기, 문제 해결 계획하기, 문제 해결하기, 발표·평가하기의 4단계로 설정하고, 이를 바탕으로 실제 학교현장에서 프로젝트학습을 적용할 수 있는 프로젝트학습 지도안 모형을 개발하였다. 프로젝트 설계하기 단계는 교사가 프로젝트 전 과정에 대해 구상하고 구체적인 내용을 설계하는 단계이다. 문제 해결 계획하기 단계는 교사가 설정한 프로젝트 주제를 해결하기 위해 문제를 발견하고 문제 해결을 위한 계획을 세우는 단계이다. 문제해결하기 단계는 문제 해결을 위해 계획한 내용에 대한 구체적인 활동으로 실천하는 단계이다. 발표·평가하기 단계는 결과물을 전시하고 서로 발표하며 평가하는 단계이다. 결과물은 보고서, 만들기 작품, 동영상, 사진 등 다양한 형태가 될 수 있으며 문제를 해결하기 위해 가장 효과적인 자료를 제시한다. 선행 연구자들의 프로젝트학습 지도안에 나타난 구성요소를 추출하였다. 구체적으로 프로젝트 주제, 성취기준, 프로젝트 목표, 예상 주제망, 프로젝트 명, 관련교과, 학습 순서, 학습 내용, 학습 활동, 학습 자료, 평가 계획, 피드백 계획의 12개 구성요소를 선정하였다. 이를 바탕으로 초등학생을 위한 프로젝트학습 지도안 모형을 개발하여 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study is to design a lesson plan model of project-based learning to teach students in elementary schools. First of all, based on literature review, this author set up four steps to administer project-based learning in schools as follows: a) designing a project, b) planning problem solving, c) solving problems, and d) presenting and assessing products. The first step, designing a project, is to plan a whole project and design specific contents for each step. In the planning problem solving step, students discover real-world problems and plan how to solve the problems. In the solving problems step, students collaboratively work together to solve problems by inquiry and discussion. In the last step, presenting and assessing products, students present their products and students assess them each other. Based on literature review about a lesson plan for applying project-based learning, this author developed a lesson plan model of project-based learning, which can be applied to teach elementary school students. It includes 12 essential elements to engage project-based learning, such as a topic, standards, learning goals, a topic web, a project title, relative subjects, learning order, learning contents, learning activities, learning resources, an assessing plan, and a feedback plan.
