This paper examined how elementary school mathematics evaluation has changed from the syllabus to the 2015 revised curriculum. Although educational evaluation appeared from the 1st curriculum, it was only from the 4th curriculum that the evaluation came into elementary mathematics. Since then, the evaluation contents specialized in mathematics have been presented since the 6th curriculum, and the framework seems to be valid to date. While the role of educational evaluation was gradually expanded at the general level, elementary mathematics and evaluation remained unchanged in the framework of the sixth curriculum. Then, as the process-based evaluation emerged in the 2015 revised curriculum, elementary mathematics and evaluation were found to be more sophisticated.
