영문초록

This study aims to illuminate the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis of circulating fluidized bed combustor (CFBC). The CFBC technology has emerged as one of the promising technology for waste-to-energy using solid refuse fuel (SRF). It was known that the combustion efficiency of CFBC was achieved over 98%. However, there are still many obstacles in operation of CFBC. Recently, CFD analysis is often used to find the solution for operation obstacles of CFBC. Therefore, in this work, the study on CFD analysis of CFBC was performed for commercial scale of 30MW. The model is based on the ANSYS package which represents a powerful tool that can be used in CFD analysis. The non-reacting flow field and the particles trajectory in the CFBC are numerically simulated by the finite volume method.
