The purpose of this study was to present trends and experiences of vocational education for students with visual impairments in Korea and China from 2010 to 2019. In other words, 32 journal papers(8 Koreans and 24 Chinese) from 2010 to present related to vocational education of blind students in Korea and China were collected and analyzed. The research results are as follows. First, Korea has the largest number of two-person studies, and China has the largest number of one-person studies. Second, Korea and China have the most research conducted by university professors. Third, both Korean and Chinese students showed a lot of research on college students. Fourth, both Korea and China have more researches for students with simple visual impairment than those with visual impairment. Fifth, Korea has the most survey research, and China has the most literature research. Sixth, Korea has done a lot of research on recognition and satisfaction research topics, and China has done a lot on application (program) research topics. Many studies on cognition and satisfaction of middle school, high school, and college students appeared in Korea, and many studies on application (program) in middle school, high school, and college students appeared in China. Korea has found that many studies have focused on recognition and satisfaction using survey research and qualitative research. While China has many studies on application (program) using research, qualitative research and literature research.
Based on these findings, in future research on vocational education for students with visual impairments, Korea and China have expanded various research methods, including practical experimental studies, and diversifying the research topics and contents of vocational education appropriate for school level and age of students with visual impairments.
