목적 : 본 연구에서는 작업치료사 직무에 대한 작업치료학과 신입생들의 인식수준에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 2019년 3월초 광주광역시에 소재한 H대학교에 재학 중인 작업치료학과 신입생을 대상으로 직접 방문 하여 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 53부의 설문지가 최종 분석 자료로 활용되었다. 연구결과 : 작업치료학과 신입생의 작업치료사 책무에 대한 인식수준은 평가와 중재가 가장 높았으며, 교육 및 관 리의 경우 인식수준이 낮은 것을 알 수 있었다. 일반적 특성에 따른 작업치료사 책무에 대한 인식수준 은 ‘연령’에 따른 ‘교육 및 관리’ 책무와 ‘알고지내는 작업치료사의 유무’에 따른 ‘중재’ 책무에 대한 인식수준에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 작업과제에 대한 인식수준은 ‘작업수행영역 평가하기’, ‘일상생활 활동 평가하기’, ‘일상생활능력 훈련하기’ 순으로 높았던 반면, ‘환경요소 평가하기’, ‘보조기 의수족 제 공하기’, ‘관리하기’, ‘교육하기’ 는 인식수준이 낮았다. 결론 : 본 연구는 작업치료학과 신입생들의 작업치료사 직무에 대한 인식을 알아볼 수 있는 기초자료로 작 업치료사 직무에 대한 명확성 확립과 인식개선에 도움이 될 것이다.
Objective : The purpose of this study in to investigate recognition of freshmen in the department of occupational therapy about occupational therapist’s job. Method : At the beginning of march 2019, questionnaire surveys were conducted for the freshmen of the department of occupational therapy at H university in Gwangju. 53 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. Result : The level of recognition of occupational therapist’s duties of freshmen in the department of occupational therapy was the highest in ‘Evaluation’ and ‘Intervention’. In the case of ‘Education & Management’, the recognition level is low. There was a significant difference in recognition level of ‘Education & Management’ duty according to ‘age’ among general characteristics. And there was a significant difference in recognition level of ‘Intervention’ duty according to ‘occupational therapists who knows’. The recognition of tasks was high in order of ‘performance area evaluation’, ‘activity of daily living test’, and ‘improve activity of daily living skill.’ On the other hand, the level of recognition was low in ‘environmental elements evaluation’, ‘provide splint & orthosis’, ‘providing education’ and ‘managing’. Conclusion : This study can be used as the primary data on the recognition of freshmen in the department of occupational therapy about occupational therapist’s job. It will help clarify and improve the recognition of the occupational therapist’s job.
