Objective : In this study we aimed to examine the validity of the LICA for MoCA-K evaluations in the stroke patients.
Method : LICA, MoCA-K were administered to 30 stroke patients in from general hospital in Seoul, rehabilitation hospital in Gyeonggido from June 1, 2018 to Sep 30, 2018.
Result : The correlation between the performance scores of LICA and MoCA-K showed a significant correlation coefficient r=.469. The correlation between the performance scores of LICA and Education level showed a significant correlation coefficient r=.432. The correlation between the performance scores of MoCA-K and Education level showed a significant correlation coefficient r=.760. The comparison between the performance scores of the LICA and the MoCA-K was as follows: correlation coefficient memory of was r=.468, correlation coefficient attention of was r=.504.
Conclusion : The result of this study suggests that LICA and MoCA-K are valid and sensitive measurement tools, which are helpful to screen stroke patients cognitive impairment.
