본 연구는 부산교육정책연구소의 부산교육종단연구(BELS: Busan Education Longitudinal Study)를 활용하여 부산광역시 내 초등학생 자녀를 둔 학부모들의 부산교육에 대한 만족도를 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 2016년을 시작점(1차)으로 2017년 2차년도(2차), 2018년 3차년도(3차)의 자료를 활용하여 초등 학부모들의 학교교육에 대한 만족도의 변화와 영향요인을 분석하고자 하였으며, 1차년도를 기준으로 연구참여자는 남성 1,656명과 여성 1,496명으로 총 3,178명이다. 잠재성장모형을 적용한 분석결과 적합한 모형으로 선형 변화모형이 도출되었으며, 초기치 평균과 변량, 변화율의 평균과 변량 모두 통계적으로 유의미하였다. 한편, 학부모들의 학교교육만족도 변화에 영향을 주는 요인은 무엇인지를 분석하고자 선형 변화모형의 초기치, 변화율 요인에 영향을 미치는 변수를 투입한 결과 방과후학교 효과 인식, 학부모들의 학교온라인 이용정도, 학부모들의 학교자원봉사 참여 횟수 등이 학교교육만족도 초기치에 영향을 주고 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 그 외에 설정된 변수들은 통계적으로 무의미하였다.
Using BELS(Busan Education Longitudinal Study) Data of Busan Education Policy Institute, the study analyzed the satisfaction of parents who have elementary school children in the education in Busan. More specifically, the study analyzed the change and impact factor of satisfaction of the school education of the elementary school parents using data from the first wave of 2016, second wave of 2017, and third wave of 2018. The sample in the first wave was 3,178(1,656 males, 1,496 females). The results indicate that linear change model as a suitable model was drawn by the analysis of Latent Growth Model and the mean and variance of baseline and the mean and variance of change ratio were statistically significant. And they showed that factors influencing the change of parents’ school educational satisfaction were the perception of the effect of after-school, the extent of usage of parents’ school online, and the number of participation of parents in school volunteer events. Some Discussions and implications for the results were presented.
