The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effects of Self-Efficacy in the Relationship between Family Strength and Life Satisfaction of University Students s.
In order to figure these out, 351 students were selected from 2 universities in Busan and a survey measuring Family Strength, Self-Efficacy, and Life Satisfaction was conducted. Final data from 351 students were analyzed using SPSS Ver. 25.0 and PROCESS Procedure for SPSS Ver. 3.2 of Hayes(2013). The results of this study are as
follows: First, university student’s Family Strength, Self-Efficacy and Life Satisfaction have statistically significant correlations. Second, in the influence of university student’s Family Strength affecting Life Satisfaction, Self-Efficacy have partial mediating effects. In conclusion, it is indicative that as protective factors of Life Satisfaction for university students not only environmental factors such as family strength but also personal factors such as Self-Efficacy are important factors which has to be dealt together with.
