본 연구에서는 중학생 학습무기력의 잠재집단을 분류하고, 잠재집단에 따른 부모의 양육행동의 차이를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국 아동청소년패널테이터(KCYPS 2018)의 중학교 1학년 자료를 활용하여 기술통계, 상관관계분석, 잠재프로파일 분석과 변량분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중학교 1학년의 학습무기력 잠재집단은 ‘학습활력형’, ‘학습평균형’, ‘학습무기력형’의 3개의 집단으로 구분되었다. 둘째, 학습무기력 잠재프로파일 집단별로 부모의 양육행동에서 차이가 나타났다. ‘학습활력형’에서는 따스함, 자율성지지, 구조제공 같은 긍정적 양육행동이 높게 나타났으나, ‘학습무기력형’에서는 거부, 강요, 비일관성 같은 부정적 양육행동이 높게 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 중학교 학생의 학습무기력 프로파일별 부모의 양육행동이 미치는 차별적 영향을 확인함으로써 학습무기력 잠재집단에 따른 부모의 양육행동에 관한 시사점과 기초적인 자료를 제공할 것이다.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the latent profiles of academic helplessness for middle school students, as well as to analyze the differences in the parenting behaviors according to the types of latent profile groups. For this purpose Correlation, Latent profile and multivariate, univariate analysis were conducted using data from 2,590 students who responded to a survey in the 1st Period data (2018) of the “Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey 2018 (KCYPS 2018)”. The results were as follows: First, the latent profile groups for learned helplessness of middle school students were classified into three group types each with ‘vigorous learning, moderate learning moderate and learned helplessness’. Second, there were differences in parenting behavior according to a group of latent profiles of academic helplessness. The ‘learned helplessness type' has the highest level of negative parenting behavior, the lowest positive parenting behavior, while the‘vigorous learning type’has the highest positive parenting behavior. The results of this study provide implications for solving the problem of academic helplessness by checking the discriminatory influence of parenting behavior by latent profile types of academic helplessness.
