The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the concrete policy setting for elderly-elderly abuse as relational aggression which is considered as an important problem for the elderly generation that all generations will face. A total of 300 elderly people aged 60 or older who are using the elderly welfare center and social welfare center, which are representative spaces where social relations including interpersonal relationships are completed, were surveyed in the case of no official social activities. Among them, 283 questionnaires were analyzed except for the questionnaire that answered poorly. It was limited to Busan city in local area. In this study, the control variables were selected as gender, age, education level, and monthly average income. Considering that the subjects of this study were the elderly who used the institution, it was predicted that the period of institutional use would affect the relational aggression and rejection sensitivity of the elderly. This study was a mediating variable in investigating the effect of rejection sensitivity on relational aggression that will be rejected by important others. Therefore, this study suggests a practical intervention plan for social welfare in counseling with the elderly clients who experience rejection sensitivity for the elderly with relational aggression problems.
