This study is a narrative inquiry about what the stories and meanings of art therapists artistic actions toward clients can constitute in art therapy through the response art experienced by two art therapists who are close associates. Co-researchers and research participants, A and B, produced response art in 10 meetings over three months, and collected field texts through response art and unstructured dialogue with each client. Each researcher found the final research text through the process of constructing a narrative about the response art they experienced and through reviewing and analyzing each other s narratives. As a result, it was found that response art between coworkers has the value of being a pathway to the unconscious, allowing one to meet whole motherhood, deal with reverse countertransference, return to the position of the therapist, and prepare for meeting new clients.
