The aim of this paper is to clarify the meaning of human dignity and its elements and suggest the pedagogical strategies of teaching human dignity. Human dignity means that the person have an existential, intrinsic value. it is consisted of two elements, that is, the person is priceless and all person is equal in preciousness. The virtue and merit, the similarity in image of God, the ability of reason, morality, autonomy have been submitted as the reasons of human dignity. But those reasons of human dignity have its logical drawbacks. Recently, it is submitted that the man deserve priceless because not the person have intrinsic value, but treating a person priceless produces the better life and society for the person. The purpose of teaching human dignity is to teach student to treat a person with dignity and participate in making the community of dignified persons. The pedagogical strategies of teaching human dignity are consisted of five activities, that is, differentiating the human action that improve human dignity from the human action that weaken human dignity, figuring out the meaning of human dignity and its elements, identifying the reasons of human dignity and comparing and analyzing the reasons of human dignity, identifying human identity, identifying the social system that improve human dignity etc.
