Education is one of the intrinsic attributes of human beings, but without its own theoretical illumination, it is hidden in daily life and its value is difficult to receive attention. This study seeks the possibility of its own theoretical basis in the Endogenous Theory of Education. As one of the everyday situations that did not happen, we looked at the popular music audition program. As a result, it was possible to discover the characteristics and values of popular music as a material for education, the human being as education subject, and the role of the audition as a medium for establishing educational relationships. However, the format of the survival program based on the ratings-priority principle acted as an economic and cultural environment that prioritizes secular competition and marketability, and became a factor limiting the progress of education according to the intrinsic rule. In order to overcome these problems, the correct perception of education and the choice of standard are required. This study has significance in that it revealed educational aspects and values that were hidden and not noticed in everyday situations such as popular music audition programs, and confirmed the role of Endogenous Theory of Education.
