본 연구는 아동학대 예방에 관한 국내 학술지 발표연구의 동향을 파악하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 국내에서 발표된 아동학대 예방에 관한 논문 총 96편을 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 이를 대상으로 논문의 발표현황, 연구의 방법론적 측면과 내용적 측면을 중심으로 분석하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 아동학대 예방에 관한 연구는 2016년과 2017년을 중심으로 2010년대 후반에 가장 많이 발표되었으며, 주로 사회과학분야와 복합학분야에서 수행되었다. 둘째, 방법론적 측면에서 이론적 연구와 경험적 연구가 비슷한 비율로 수행되었으며, 경험적 연구는 주로 횡단적으로 접근한 양적 연구로 수행되었다. 자료수집을 위해 질문지법이 가장 많이 사용되었고, 문헌자료를 활용한 연구도 많았다. 아동학대 예방에 관한 연구들은 신고의무자와 부모를 포함하여 성인을 대상으로 한 연구가 많았고, 아동을 대상으로 한 연구는 소수에 그쳤다. 셋째, 내용적 측면에서 대부분의 연구는 아동학대 유형을 구분하지 않고 통합하여 다루었으며, 연구내용은 아동학대 예방을 위한 정책과 제도, 아동학대 예방 프로그램을 다룬 연구가 많았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 아동학대 예방에 대한 추후 연구의 방향에 대해 제안하였다.
This study examines trends in the previous literature on the prevention of child abuse in South Korea. A literature search was performed in two databases provided by the National Assembly Library and the Korea Education and Research Information Service. Ninety-six published articles meeting the inclusion criteria were analyzed. A systematic review was conducted to evaluate trends in the year of publications, methodology, and contents. Major findings indicated that the articles on the prevention of child abuse were most frequently published in the late 2010s. Many studies were conducted in social science and convergence. Theoretical and empirical studies were conducted at a similar rate, and empirical studies were conducted mainly as quantitative cross-sectional studies. Most of the studies collected data using the questionnaire method. Additionally, the number of studies targeting adults including mandatory reporters and parents was higher than those targeting children. The most popular research issues were laws, policies and institutions, and child abuse prevention programs. Suggestions are provided as future directions in the study of child abuse prevention.
