This study was conducted to explore the content of satisfaction among the elderly who use the free meals at the Bird Nae Senior Welfare Center (substitute meals are provided once a week for 5 days due to the suspension of the restaurant for the elderly due to Corona 19), and the occurrence of Corona 19 or a similar infectious disease This study was conducted for the purpose of using it as an important data for improving the quality of alternative meals provided following the suspension of operation of restaurants for senior citizens. The subjects of the survey were 150 people who were eligible for free meals (replacement meals) at Birdnae Senior Welfare Center in 2020. In the case of meal satisfaction (meal composition, amount of food provided) and service satisfaction (kindness, time to receive alternative meals), “very much” was found to be the highest, indicating that overall satisfaction was high.
As a result of cross-analysis of satisfaction according to the general characteristics of the study subjects (age, gender, and member classification), it was found that there were significant differences in satisfaction with the amount of food provided by gender and service satisfaction according to age (kindness, meal service time). Males were less satisfied with the amount of food provided than females, and the higher the age, the lower the service satisfaction. Special care for the elderly, etc.) is considered necessary.
