본 연구는 버드내노인복지관 무료급식(코로나19에 따른 경로식당 운영 중단 상황으로 주1회 5일분 대체식 제공) 이용 어르신을 대상으로 만족도에 관한 내용을 탐색하고자 진행하였으며, 코로나19 또는 유사한 전염성 질병 발생 시 경로식당 운영 중단에 따라 제공되는 대체식의 양질 개선을 위한 중요한 자료로 활용할 목적으로 조사되었다. 조사 대상자는 2020년 버드내노인복지관 무료급식(대체식) 대상자 150명을 대상으로 진행하였으며 조사결과, 이용 빈도는“매주 이용”이 많았으며 이용 목적은“경제적인 이유”가 많았다. 식단 만족도(식단구성, 식단제공 양)와 서비스 만족도(친절도, 대체식 수령시간)의 경우“매우 그렇다”가 가장 많은 것으로 나타나 전반적으로 만족도는 높게 나타났다. 연구 대상자의 일반적 특성(연령, 성별, 회원구분)에 따른 만족도 교차분석 결과 성별에 따른 식단제공 양 만족도, 연령에 따른 서비스 만족도(친절도, 식단 제공시간)가 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 남성이 여성보다 식단제공 양 만족도가 낮았고, 연령이 높을수록 서비스 만족도는 상대적으로 낮게 나타나 일반적 특성(연령, 성별, 회원구분)에 따른 욕구를 반영하여 대체식을 제공하고 현재보다 더욱 세심한 서비스 관리(고령자 특별 관리 등)가 필요한 것으로 판단된다.
