The purpose of the following study is to examine what experiences group home adolescents who were abused during childhood have when improving resilience through art therapy. For this purpose, two female adolescents under the age of 18 living in a group home were selected as participants and a multiple case study method was carried out. Art therapy sessions were held from April 23 to July 30, 2021, 1-2 times a week, for 60 to 90 minutes per session for a total of 24 sessions. By analyzing the data collected during the session and in-depth interview data, the conclusion of what the adolescents experienced through art therapy led to the following. First, their ability to independently solve their problems strengthened as their understanding of themselves and self-control improved. Second, as they found enjoyable and satisfying elements of life in a group home, they developed an attitude of actively designing their positive future plans. Third, the participants realized that the people in the group home were their support system, and learned how to develop social relationships and face the difficulties of relationships.
