The purpose of this study was to examine the role and direction of Buddhist education in the new era of Buddhist churches in the present era when the polarization is becoming more serious. For college students born and raised in a society where polarization is intensifying, they looked at the world and looked at the forms of recognition and lifestyle, and found positive effects such as their value system, life purpose, and emotional characteristics I discussed the role and direction of Buddhist education. The college students in this age have solved the inconvenience of their own by showing the separation personalization problem with the parent, the problem with the concentration of the internal value and the concentration of the external value, the psychological uneasiness accompanying the social instability To overcome this difficulty, I showed the situation such as excessive preparation for job hunting, adherence to academic history, and mixed roles. In order to overcome this, the education of Buddhism, which is being carried out at the University of the Buddhism, needs to be structured to better implement the dual roles of Buddhist education and Buddhist education. I can find out the true value of life through the education of Buddhism and dispose of the falsehood that has inflicted on the world’s value. I can release the true value of life from the psychological anxiety of Satori. For this reason, Buddhist education aims to understand the true spirit of the world’s important religions and Buddhism, to discover the path of a wise way of life, and to develop human beings who lead the era and demonstrate their practice to that teaching This is important. In this study, we have studied the role and direction of Buddhist education that meets the needs of the times, by expanding the understanding of Buddhist education to new entrants to the university. It has significance in that it has been explored.
