4차 산업혁명은 2016년 세계경제포럼 이후 본격적으로 세계적인 주목을 받고 있다. 4차 산업혁 명은 산업과 관련된 분야의 전문인들만이 관심하는 이야기가 아닌 우리 모두의 이야기가 되고 있 는 실정이다. 따라서 학문의 경계를 넘어서고 있는 4차 산업혁명이란 주제와 종교교육의 대화가 불가피한 것도 사실이다. 왜냐하면 4차 산업혁명의 현실 속에 종교적 신앙공동체, 종교인의 삶이 놓여 있을 뿐만 아니라 분리될 수도 없기 때문이다. 이와 같은 현실 속에서 본 논문은 4차 산업혁명과 세계평화통일가정연합 교육의 학문적 대화를 시도하고 있다. 이를 통하여 4차 산업혁명을 보다 구체적으로 이해하고, 이러한 4차 산업혁명 시 대에 세계평화통일가정연합의 교육은 어떠한 의미를 지닐 수 있는지를 조명하고자 한다. 4차 산업혁명을 이끄는 대표적인 주요 과학기술로는 사물인터넷과 인공지능 등이 있다. 4차 산 업혁명은 창조적인 인간의 노동이 지닌 가치가 상실되지 않으면서, 본질적으로 인간이 소외되지 않도록 그 방향성이 모색되어져야 한다. 더 나아가 4차 산업혁명은 뛰어난 인간의 과학기술의 발 전만큼 이를 응용하고 적용하는 본질적인 목적이 무엇인지를 다시 한 번 윤리적으로 성찰하게 되 는 기회를 제공해 주고 있다. 과학과 종교는 세계평화통일가정연합에서 이상세계를 향하여 나아감에 있어 무관하게 분리될 수 없는 두 영역이며, 상호 협력적인 관계라고 전제되고 있다. 또한 세계평화통일가정연합의 교육 은 인간이 지닌 창조적 능력이 근본적으로 사랑과 윤리와 연계되어야 함을 전제한다. 4차 산업혁 명 시대와 마주한 세계평화통일가정연합의 교육은 인간이 지닌 창조적 능력이 무엇과 관계되어져 야 하며, 무엇을 지향하여야 하는지를 성찰하게 하는 의미를 갖는다.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution has been receiving the global spotlight in earnest since World Economic Forum in 2016. The Fourth Industrial Revolution has become what not only industry professionals but also all of us have interest in. Accordingly, it is also true that communication between the subject of the Fourth Industrial Revolution going over the boundary of learning and religious education is unavoidable. This is because faith communities and the life of religious people are in the reality of the Fourth Industry Revolution, and also cannot be separated from it. In this reality, this article is trying to establish a communication between the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the education of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, through which this article attempts to understand the Fourth Industrial Revolution more specifically, and illuminate what meaning the education of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification has in the age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. There are the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, etc. as representative and major scientific techniques leading the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The directional nature of the Fourth Industrial Revolution should be sought for humans not to be essentially alienated without losing the value creative humans have. Furthermore, the Fourth Industrial Revolution is giving humans another chance to introspect ethically what the fundamental goal of maximizing humans excellent scientific technique development is. Family Federation for World Peace and Unification assumes science and religion are two sectors which are inseparable and mutually cooperative in heading for ideal world. Also, its education assumes that creative ability humans have should be basically linked to love and ethics.
