본 연구는 『화엄경』 「입법계품」의 선지식 2번 덕운비구, 4번 선주비구, 8번 휴사우바이, 13번 자재주동자, 23번 비시라선사, 총 5개 선지식의 교설내용을 토대로 유아교육적 관점에서 유아수학 교육 관련 내용을 분석하고 유아교육 적용 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 「입법계품」 선지식에 대한 유아수학교육 내용의 분석 준거는 수와 연산, 공간과 도형, 측정, 규칙성, 자료 정리 및 분석의 5 개 범주로 설정하였다. 본 연구에서 「입법계품」 선지식에 대한 유아수학교육의 구성 내용을 분석 한 결과 덕운비구는 수와 연산 활동을, 선주비구는 측정과 규칙성 활동을, 휴사우바이는 공간과 도형 활동을, 자재주동자는 수와 연산과 규칙성 활동을, 비시라선사는 측정과 자료 정리 및 분석 과 관련된 수학교육활동 내용이 도출되었으며, 「입법계품」 선지식에 대한 유아교육현장 활용 방안 은 동화를 활용한 유아수학교육 활동 적용이 가능한 것으로 분석되었다.
This study attempted to analyze the contents of early childhood mathematics education from the viewpoint of early childhood education and to search for the implementation method of early childhood education based on preaching contents of a total of five kalyana mitra of Gaṇḍhavyūha-sūtra such as 2 Deokun bigu, 4 Seonju bigu, 8 Hyusa Ubai, 13 Jajaeju Dongja, and 23 Bisira Seonsa. The criterion of analyzing the contents of early childhood mathematics education as to the Gaṇḍhavyūha-sūtra was set to five categories including number and operation, space and figure, measurement, regularity, data collection and result presentation. As a result of analyzing the constitution of early childhood mathematics education about the Gaṇḍhavyūha-sūtra, activities of number and operation are derived from Deokun bigu, activities of measurement and regularity are derived from Seonju bigu, activities of space and shape are derived from Hyusa Ubai, activities of the number and operation and regularity are derived from Jajaeju Dongja, and the contents of mathematics education activities related to measurement and data collection and presentation were derived from Bisira Seonsa in this study. It is analyzed that the implementation method in the field of early childhood education as to Gaṇḍhavyūha-sūtra is applicable to the education activities of early childhood mathematics using fairy tales.
