The purpose of this article is to analyze the development and characteristics of the ecological NGOs in contemporary Korean Religions. Today, the ecological NGOs in Korean religions participate in public sphere through diverse ways, checking both the government policies and the religious beliefs and activities of their own religious orders at the same time. In particular, they have participated actively in ecological movements not only by the resistant way but also by the educational way, and their educational activities have been gradually expanded. And the ecological NGOs in Korean Religions play important roles in communication between civil society and their religious orders. Also, they fill the role of windows for religious people to participate in national politics.
