이 논문은 종교교사 양성과정의 실태를 분석하고 그 개선방안을 제안하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 관련 현행 법규 제도적인 측면과 실제 교육과정 편성 및 운영 을 중심으로 분석하고 문제점과 아울러 발전방안을 제안하고자 한다. 현재 종교교사양성은 종교관련 대학의 관련 학과에서 교직과정을 통해서, ○○교육과를 통해서교육대학원의 종교교육전공 등 세 가지 통로를 거쳐 이뤄지고 있다. 어느 경우든 관련 규정에 의해 현재는 전공(42학점-기본이수과목 5과목 14학점이상 포함)+교직(20)을 기본적으로 요구받고 있다. 현재 종교교사양성 기관으로 인가를 받은 기관은 대략 36개 기관인 것으로 확인되었다. 현재 종교교사양성 과정에 문제점으로는 표준화된 교육과정의 미흡, 교과교육 영역, 교육실습, 평가체제 등이 미비한 점 등을 들 수 있다. 향후 이런 과제를 해결하기 위한 발전방안을 제시하면 첫째, 제도적인 면에서 종교교사양성에 대한 정비가 필요하다. 둘째, 종교교사 양성과정에 표준화된 교육과정 모형을 개발할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 교사양성 대학과 중등학교 현장의 연계를 도모할 필요가 있다. 넷째, 종교 교과교육 영역의 활성과가 요구된다. 다섯째, 교육실습에 대한 체계화된 프로그램 개설 및 운영이 요구된다. 여섯째, 종교교사 양성과정에 대한 평가체제 정비가 요구된다. 끝으로 교사양성과정에 대한 연구 개발이 필요하다.
Main purpose of this paper is to analysis the current actual condition on the teacher training system of “subject of religion” and present its improvement. There are three courses on the teacher training system of “subject of religion”: course of teaching profession in university, related with ○○ department of education, majored on religious education in graduate school of education. Any courses requirement of teacher needs major subject+ teaching profession subject. About 36 institutions are authorized by government as a Institution for teacher training system of “subject of religion”. Now tasks of such institutions are insufficient of standard curriculum, subject matter, teaching practice, evaluation system etc. In oder to overcome such an problem, needs to establish a system on the training “subject of religion”, development of standard curriculum, cooperation with secondary schools with universities, activate the subject matter area, development and operate the systematic teaching practice program, establishment evaluation system, research and development teacher training system of “subject of religion.”
